Meet Dr. Anderson
Dr. Anderson was born in Atlanta, Georgia, and grew up in LaGrange, Georgia. He attended Samford University in Birmingham, Alabama, and graduated with a B.S. in Biology. He then completed his medical training at Edward Via College of Osteopathic Medicine in Spartanburg, where he was inducted into the Sigma Sigma Phi Chi-Alpha Honors Society and graduated at the top of his class. He went on to complete his otolaryngology-head and neck surgery training at Michigan State University’s Ascension Providence Health System in Detroit, Michigan, and served as chief resident. There, he advanced the field of otolaryngology with multiple peer-reviewed publications and presentations at regional and national meetings. He is an active member in professional societies including the American Academy of Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery and the American Academy of Otolaryngic Allergy. He is completing a fellowship through the American Academy of Otolaryngic Allergy.
Dr. Anderson is board certified by the American Board of Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery. He enjoys managing all adult and pediatric ENT issues including allergic and non-allergic sinus disorders, thyroid/parathyroid diseases, salivary gland disorders, chronic otologic disease, hearing loss, vocal cord/airway disorders and head and neck cancers. He has completed training in the latest techniques for minimally invasive sinus surgery and enjoys performing in-office procedures for nasal obstruction and rhinorrhea.
Dr. Anderson and his wife met at Samford University, and together they have three children. Dr. Anderson enjoys music, camping, traveling and spending time with friends and family.
